The open circle of the Society
10% of every fee is returned to the local community committee. Members vote on where the funds are used.
Every Founder and Friend automatically contributes. You can also make optional one-time Impact Contributions and vote directly in the member app. Full transparency with photos and receipts every year.
This land has been quietly protected for over 25 years. We created the Nopalitos Society of Friends to keep it that way — small, intentional, and generous. No equity. No profit motive. Just a simple membership license for personal use and a shared commitment to the place and the people who live here.
No. This is a private membership license for recreational use rights only.
It covers ongoing upkeep of the entire sanctuary — trails, dock, kitchen, common areas, basic caretaking, and security — so the land stays beautiful for everyone.
Only a raised deck + canvas-style tent/cabin is allowed. No concrete, no permanent structures, no water or sewage on private slots.
Founders: 50-year renewable rights. Friends: annual renewal.
Founders may transfer once (10% admin fee). Friends memberships are non-transferable.
